JACKSON RE-APPOINTED TO UIL COUNCIL

Brenham ISD superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson has been appointed to serve another term on the UIL Legislative Council.
The 32-member Legislative Council is composed of school administrators. The Council’s duties include hearing proposals and passing amendments to the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules, amending or adopting contest rules and appointing standing and special committees.
UIL Legislative Council chair Dr. Thomas Randle thanked Jackson for what Randle called “splendid service” in the past and hopes he continues to serve in the future.
This new term will expire on June 1, 2023.
