BURLESON CO. S.O. TO GET NEW BODY CAMS
Burleson County commissioners have approved new body cameras for the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Thomas Norsworthy says the new cameras are similar to those used by DPS troopers. They are wireless as a self-contained unit located on the deputies shirts.
Northsworthy says the new units will be more efficient and easier to use.
The cameras will be purchased thru Digital Ally of Kansas City for $4,720 annually.
