AUTHORITIES HAVE FOUND MISSING GRIMES CO. MAN
Update @ 5:40 p.m.: Sheriff's investigators have located Forrest Brookshire, who they say is safe and doing well. He has been cleared from the state and national database as a missing person.
Original Story @ 10:35 a.m.: The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing man.

Deputies are searching for 23-year-old Forrest Gabriel Brookshire, who was last seen at a residence in the Richards community.
Officers responded to the residence Saturday, where they were informed that Brookshire had left the residence last Thursday afternoon, and had not been seen or heard from since. Family members reported that Brookshire suffers from mental illness.
Brookshire is described as being 6’2”, 165 pounds with a thin build, brown hair, blue eyes, with a black goatee. He was last seen wearing a black baseball style cap with a red bill, black shirt, and black jeans.
Brookshire has been entered into the state and national database as a missing person. If anyone has seen Brookshire or has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office at 936-873-2151.
