TWO ARRESTED IN COLORADO CO. FOR DRUG, WEAPON POSSESSION

A pair of Colorado County men were taken into custody Monday night on drug and weapon charges.
Just before 6:30 p.m., Deputy Austin Moore stopped a suspicious vehicle on Old McDonald Lane in Glidden, roughly two miles west of Columbus.
After further investigation, 54-year-old Elroy Joseph Wright of Glidden and 19-year-old Wyatt James Mazac of Columbus were arrested.

Both were charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance less than 200 grams, a first degree felony, and Possession of Marijuana less than five pounds, a state jail felony.

Additionally, Wright was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third degree felony, and Mazac for Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence, also a third degree felony.
Both were released Tuesday after posting bond set by Precinct Four Justice of the Peace Stan Warfield.
