Wendy Yates, a partner with Moorman Tate, LLP, was recently certified as a member of the Lawyers of Distinction in the area of estate planning.
The Lawyers of Distinction is recognized as one of the fastest growing communities of distinguished lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to no more than 10 percent of attorneys from any given state.
Members are accepted based upon objective evaluation of an attorney’s qualifications, license, reputation, experience, and disciplinary history.
Yates is a Texas board certified estate planning and probate attorney with 17 years of experience, helping clients develop and implement personalized estate plans. She was recently a featured speaker at the 8th Annual Women, Wealth and Wisdom workshop sponsored by the Texas A&M Foundation in College Station.
Last October, Yates was the program chair for the State Bar of Texas’ Estate Planning and Probate Drafting continuing education course in Dallas. She has also begun her second term on the Texas Board of Legal Specialization Exam Commission for estate planning and probate.
