MAN ARRESTED AFTER BRIEF CHASE
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces charges after a brief police foot chase, Tuesday morning.
21-year old Xavier Nickerson was arrested just before 11:00 a.m., after Brenham Police were dispatched to a theft in the 600 block of S Market St.
At the scene, authorities located Nickerson, who tried to evade the officers. After a short foot pursuit, he was eventually placed in custody.
It was discovered that Nickerson was wanted for two active warrants out of Robertson County and Brazos County for Criminal Mischief and evading arrest w/previous convictions.
Nickerson was also charged locally with Evading Arrest Detention with Previous Conviction.
