MULTIPLE AGENCIES EXECUTE SEARCH WARRANTS FRIDAY MORNING

  

Two people were taken into custody early Friday morning after multiple agencies executed search warrants at two locations in Brenham. At 6:00 this (Friday) morning, the Brenham Police Department, along with deputies from Washington County, Burleson County, Waller County and members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Special Operations Group, executed two search warrants relating to the distribution of illegal narcotics in the 1200 block of Garrett Street and the 2000 block of FM 389.   As a result of the warrant execution, officers located crack cocaine, packaging materials, scales and a sum of U.S. currency. Two subjects, Germaine Crawford, 35, of Brenham and a juvenile, were taken into custody at the scene. Crawford was charged with delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and money laundering. The investigation is ongoing with further charges pending.
