WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO ACT ON FORMAL AGREEMENT WITH FOOD PROVIDER FOR JAIL
Washington County Commissioners will meet Tuesday to act on an official agreement with a food provider for services at the Washington County Jail.
Commissioners will consider approval of a formal agreement between the Sheriff’s Office and Trinity Services Group, Inc., for inmate food services at the jail.
Back in July, commissioners awarded a contract to Trinity Services Group, effective August 18th.
Also on the agenda, the court will look at renewal of a resolution authorizing submission of a grant application to the Office of the Governor. The approved resolution allows for the use of Night Vision for the Sheriff’s Office SRT Team.
Commissioners will also consider:
- Updated job descriptions for the Road and Bridge Department, as presented by the County Engineer.
- A request from the Washington County Appraisal District to retain excess funds from its 2017-18 budget, to use the funds for 2020 pictometry. Commissioners will also look at the Appraisal District’s 2019-20 budget.
- Authorization of the County Judge to enter into a flexible spending account as a supplemental employee benefit, administered by the American Family Life Assurance Company (AFLAC).
- A formal notice from PGMS-Central Washington County Water Supply Corporation for a water line extension on Joyce Circle in Precinct Three.
- Approval of a right-of-way permit application for the Washington County Fair antique tractor ride.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., at the Washington County Courthouse.
