18-WHEELER FIRE PUT OUT IN LA GRANGE NEAR McDONALD’S
No injuries were reported after a Thursday morning 18-wheeler fire in La Grange.
Around 10:30 a.m., the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called out to the fire under Bypass 71, near McDonald’s. The La Grange Fire Department responded, along with Sheriff’s Deputy Darrell Maze and La Grange police officer Cari Haman.
Upon arrival, the rear tires of the box trailer were engulfed in flames.
Firefighters successfully contained and extinguished the fire. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the box trailer was carrying wooden pallets.
