BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING PARADE WEDNESDAY NIGHT

  

Homecoming festivities for Brenham High School begin tonight (Wednesday) in downtown Brenham.

The Homecoming parade is set to make its way through downtown tonight. Dozens of floats and other entries will start lining up on Main Street at 5 p.m., with the parade beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Voting is underway at Brenham High School for the ten girls and ten boys up for Homecoming King and Queen.

Homecoming Queen nominees this year are Mia Aschenbeck, Claire Broesche, Cynthia Cienega, Tamara Hancock, Brittany Jackson, Desiree Jones, Chloe Kent, Chelsey Lemus, Brinley Linden, and Amaya McGinty.

This year’s Homecoming King candidates are Evan and Reid Aschenbeck, Johnny Biggs, Garrett Briggs, Dane Howk, Jackson Mueller, Kelvon Raven, Alldyn Schroeder, Zyron Smith, and Garrison Weiss.

Also nominated for Homecoming Court were Desiree Jones and Garrett Briggs, who were representing Brenham Cross Country at the time of homecoming photographs.

The Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime of Brenham’s Friday night football game versus Bastrop Cedar Creek. The King will be announced at the Homecoming dance after the game.

KWHI will have live coverage of tonight’s Homecoming parade, starting at 6:20 p.m. KTEX-106 will also have live reports from the parade, starting at 5:30 p.m.

KWHI will also have the Cubs’ game versus the Eagles Friday night at 7 p.m., with 6:30 p.m. pregame on AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.
