GAME-4 OF ALCS — POSTPONED
Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Houaston Astros and New York Yankees has been postponed.
The game, scheduled for tonight, has been moved back a day due to continued projections of inclement weather in the New York City area, Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday.
Game 4 will be played instead on Thursday at 7:08 p.m. CT. The National Weather Service and The Weather Channel both project a 100-percent chance of rain for Wednesday evening.
The postponement moves Game 5 to 6:08 p.m. CT on Friday, with the clubs losing a potential travel day between New York and Houston.
If necessary, games 6 and 7 would be played Saturday and Sunday in Houston.
The Astros lead the ALCS, two games to one.
