VIDEO – BHS PRESENTS LORD OF THE FLIES THURSDAY AND SATURDAY

  

The Brenham High School Drama Department will be presenting a play beginning tomorrow that is certainly a challenge for them.  Lord of the Flies is the first production from this year’s “Season of Literacy”.  The play follows a group of school kids who are stranded on a deserted island and have to fend for themselves.  It deals with many serious subjects such as leadership, fear, violence and death.  The play is quite a departure from the usual light hearted fare that the group performs.  It also features an extremely large cast. Performances of Lord of the Flies will be Thursday night at 7:00 and Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00 PM at the Brenham High School auditorium.  Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online at cubcompany.booktix.com or can be purchased at the door.
