BLINN PERFORMING ARTS SERIES BEGINS SUNDAY WITH “RAVE ON”

  

Billy McGuigan is coming back to Blinn this weekend to kick off the College’s fifth Performing Arts Series season.

“Rave On! The Buddy Holly Experience” will feature McGuigan as he brings Holly’s one-of-a-kind energy to the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center.  The performance is set for Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

McGuigan will perform some of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits, like “Peggy Sue”, “That’ll Be the Day”, and “Rave On”.  McGuigan’s Buddy Holly tribute also pays homage to fellow rockers Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper.

Season and individual show tickets are available online at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice.  Season tickets are $125, and new season ticket purchasers can upgrade to premier season tickets, which include entry to the pre-show receptions, for an additional $40.

Individual show tickets are $35, with discounted $15 tickets available for children ages 10 and under.  Blinn employees and groups of ten or more can purchase discounted $30 tickets, and student rush tickets are $10.
