ANNEXATION TALKS TO CONTINUE TUESDAY AT BRENHAM TOWN HALL MEETING

The public is invited to a town hall meeting Tuesday, as Brenham officials continue talks on the city’s annexation plans.

The town hall meeting will allow for discussion and questions regarding the annexation process, and the nearly 240 acres of land the city is considering for annexation.

The city is currently considering three tracts of land for annexation:

44 acres in the Southwest Industrial Park, bounded by Industrial Boulevard, FM 332, and FM 389;

6/10ths of an acre at Scenic Estates, along the west side of Old Masonic Road;

Just under 195 acres on the east side of Farmers Road between FM 389 and Old Mill Creek Road, and the north side of Old Mill Creek Road between the current city limit line and Jackson Creek.

Public talks on these specific tracts began earlier this month at a well-attended town hall meeting on October 15th.

The meeting is set for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., at Brenham City Hall.
