3RD ANNUAL TURKEY TROT SET FOR THANKSGIVING DAY IN ROUND TOP

  

Anyone looking for a chance to burn those calories before Thanksgiving dinner should consider making their way to Round Top for the 3^rd Annual Turkey Trot.

Presented by the Round Top Lion’s Club, participants can choose between a One-Mile Fun Run, 5K, or 10K the morning of Thanksgiving Day.  Each of the races will start at the Henkel Square Market and wind through the countryside.  Proceeds benefit the Round Top youth and community organizations.

Awards will be presented to the top two male and female runners in the 5K and 10K races, while all participants in the Fun Run will receive a medal.

Online entry for the 5K and 10K is $35 through November 7^th and $20 for the Fun Run, and includes a t-shirt.  Registration from November 8^th to the 26^th is $40 for the 5K and 10K, and $25 for the Fun Run.  Race Day registration on the 28^th is $45 for the 5K and 10K.

Runners can pick up their packets at Henkel Hall on November 26^th from 5 to 7 p.m., or on race day from 7 to 8:15 a.m.
