NEW ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY JOINS BRENHAM LAW FIRM

Brenham law firm Moorman Tate, LLP has announced the addition of a new associate attorney.
Emily De Young, originally from Ovilla near Dallas, moved to Brenham in September. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Texas Tech University’s School of Law this year. There, she served on the Texas Tech Law Review and was inducted into the National Order of Scribes.
While at Texas Tech, she competed in several national moot court competitions across the country as a brief writer, and received multiple awards for her volunteer and pro bono involvement. She is also an active member of Phi Delta Phi.
De Young earned her Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech this year, and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in 2016.
De Young says she is eager to get involved in and serve the Brenham community.
