FAITH MISSION CHRISTMAS GALA DRAWS HUNDREDS TO SILVER WINGS BALLROOM

Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham saw large crowds Thursday night, all celebrating the start of the holiday season and supporting a great cause.

Reverend Randy Wells addresses the crowd at Thursday night's Faith Mission Candlelit Christmas Gala.

Hundreds made their way out to the ballroom for Faith Mission’s annual Candlelit Christmas Gala, the group’s primary fundraising activity.

Guests enjoyed a catered meal from Alejandra Rey and the Cannery Kitchen, and bid on silent and live auction items including Christmas trees, art pieces, and even Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl rings.

Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells said the event always draws support from the local community.

Rev. Wells said all of the money raised at the Gala will go directly to help citizens in Washington County with food, shelter, education, healthcare, and employment.

Rev. Wells thanked the communities from in and around Washington County for their continued support, along with Faith Mission’s sponsors.
