LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE, STREET DANCE IN DOWNTOWN ROUND TOP DECEMBER 7TH
The town of Round Top will kick off the Christmas season next Saturday, December 7th with its annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Street Dance.
A full day of holiday festivities begins at 9 a.m. on the town square, with live music, food and drinks, vintage cars, lighted floats, and the occasional farm animal.
The Christmas Market on the Square begins at 9 a.m., with holiday shopping at Round Top’s shops and galleries starting at 10 a.m.
Starting at 11 a.m. and running through 5 p.m., the Round Top Area Historical Society will host its 22nd Annual Homes Tour. Tickets can be purchased at the Round Top Historical Society, the Round Top Area Chamber of Commerce office in Henkel Square, or at Round Top Real Estate.
Food and drinks will be served on the square from 2 to 8 p.m., with children’s activities from 3 to 5 p.m. and pre-parade visits with Santa from 3 to 6 p.m. A children’s concert will be held from 3 to 3:30 p.m. at Henkel Hall.
Parade floats will be staged from 2:45 to 5:15 p.m., with judging from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.
The Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 6:15 p.m. and should conclude around 7 p.m. Immediately following the last parade float, there will be a street dance and post-parade visits with Santa on the square.
