DEADLINE COMING UP FOR ‘MATCH THE PROMISE’ SCHOLARSHIPS
The deadline is quickly approaching for the Texas Match the Promise Foundation scholarship awards.
Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced last week that the foundation has received more than $1 million in donations.
The foundation encourages families to save for college by offering matching scholarships and tuition grants to eligible students who are beneficiaries of a Texas Tuition Promise Fund account, the state’s prepaid college tuition plan.
The application deadline for this year’s scholarship awards is December 31. Applicants can learn more online at https://texastuitionpromisefund.com, or www.matchthepromise.org.
