SETH BROESCHE MEMORIAL RANCH RODEO SATURDAY, SUNDAY AT BRAZOS CENTER

  

The memory of a Somerville man killed four years ago in a car accident will be honored this weekend at a rodeo event in Brazos County.

Cowboys from across the state will gather at the Brazos County Expo Center for the Seth Broesche Memorial Ranch Rodeo, taking place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.

Activities begin tomorrow in the Expo Center’s South Arena with a cowboy auction at 8 p.m.  Rodeo activities get underway at 10 a.m. with tiedown and breakaway roping.  Featured entertainment for the evening will be Sarah Green, Wesley Westbrook and The Restless Kind, and Carson Jeffrey.

Sunday starts with Cowboy Church at 9 a.m. in the North Arena, followed by more roping events at 10 a.m.

In years past, the event has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local organizations and scholarships.
