Winners have been announced for this past Friday’s Brazos Valley Regional History Fair.

The Fair was held Friday at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site.

Brenham Junior High School students competed with other students from across the region, bringing home several first, second and third place awards.

Individual Performance: 1st place Leondro Hernandez, 3rd place Madeline Zschech

Leo Hernandez-The Steve Haley Theater Arts Award
Madeline Zschech-The Women in History Award

The top two places in each category will advance to Texas History Day in Austin on April 25.
