BRENHAM ISD CELEBRATING TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK WITH SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

  

The community is invited to join Brenham ISD as it celebrates Texas Public Schools Week next week.

From March 2^nd to the 6^th, parents and community members are invited to visit any Brenham ISD campus and take part in a variety of activities.  The school district will also have a separate theme each day, inviting students and staff to dress up in unique and colorful ways to celebrate.

Monday, campuses will celebrate “Read Across America Day”, inviting everyone to grab a good book. The district will also be celebrating Dr. Seuss and Texas Independence, so be sure to wear red, white, and blue.

Tuesday and Wednesday, Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad will each begin at 7:30 a.m. in the library on each campus. Guests are reminded to bring their ID and check in with the front office when they arrive.  Tuesday’s district theme is “Hats off to Brenham ISD”, encouraging everyone to wear their favorite hat, while Wednesday’s theme is “Wild about Brenham ISD”, encouraging animal prints or camo.

Brenham ISD thanks the 2020 Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad sponsors, Brenham Donuts and Supreme Donuts and Café.

Thursday is “Thank a Teacher Thursday”, so be sure to let a teacher or staff member know how much they are appreciated. Thursday’s theme is “Our Schools, Our Future”, so students should dress like their future career.

Finally, on “Follow Us Friday”, follow Brenham ISD on social media to see how the school district is gearing up for success. Cub green from head to toe is in order for Friday’s theme, “Green Out”.
