TEXAS RANGER DAY CELEBRATION CANCELLED

  

After initially rescheduling the 10^th Annual Texas Ranger Day in Burton for next weekend, the Burton Heritage Society has decided to call off the event.

The annual celebration of the Texas Rangers was set for next Saturday, May 9^th, after being moved from Saturday, March 21^st due to COVID-19 concerns.

Event organizers said the event was ultimately cancelled in light of the current COVID-19 situation and recommendations by national, state, and local officials to limit the spread of the virus.
