SMALL BUSINESS APPRECIATION PARADE RIDES THROUGH DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

A group from a Brenham fitness studio showed its support this (Wednesday) afternoon for small businesses with an appreciation parade through downtown Brenham.

The Lete Phillips Exercise Program organized the parade, which featured about two dozen vehicles passing through downtown a little after 3 p.m., all honking their horns and waving to passersby.  Several vehicles were decorated with balloons, ribbons, and special signs.

The group said the parade was held to show gratitude and support for local small businesses that have struggled during the COVID-19 pandemic.
