BRENHAM AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO HEAR UPDATES ON AIRPORT PROJECTS

The Brenham Airport Advisory Board will meet Tuesday to discuss several ongoing projects at the Brenham Municipal Airport.

The board will hear an update on the city’s Fixed Base Operator (FBO) agreement with Aviators Plus, and the progress on the proposed new FBO building.  Board members will also discuss a ground space lease agreement with Aviators Plus for an AvGas fuel tank previously approved by the Brenham City Council.

The board will also hear updates on the airport runway lighting project and runway bump repair project, and will discuss airport pavement maintenance and development procedures.

Also in session, the board will consider potential revisions to the minimum standards for the airport, along with a request for the construction of a new hangar at the airport.  It will also elect a chair and vice chair for the board for 2020.

Board members will also discuss any current issues regarding airport operations and future airport needs, including possible improvements or other development at the airport.  No action on this item can be taken.

The board will meet Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at the Brenham Municipal Airport, located at 3001 Aviation Way.
