TEXAS A&M TO HOST “DRIVE-IN FIREWORKS” AT RELLIS CAMPUS

In the spirit of celebrating Independence Day as safely as possible, the Texas A&M University System has announced it will host a drive-in style fireworks show at the RELLIS Campus in Bryan.

The free community event will begin at 9 p.m. on the Fourth of July, with patriotic music provided by Bryan-College Station radio station WTAW at 94.5 FM and synced to the fireworks.  The parking area will open at 7:30 p.m. to allow guests to select a viewing area from their vehicles.

The fireworks show will also be featured on KBTX-TV for those who are unable to attend in-person.

Guests are encouraged to practice social distancing measures, including keeping at least six feet of distance from others, remaining with their vehicles during the show, wearing face masks when appropriate, and staying home if they feel ill.

Co-sponsors of the event include the Texas A&M University System, the Chancellor’s Century Council, the City of Bryan, SSC, KBTX-TV, WTAW, and the Eagle.
