CITIZENS STATE BANK’S CORY FLENCHER SELECTED TO SERVE ON IBAT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Vice President of Citizens State Bank (CSB) in Brenham has been selected to serve as Secretary-Treasurer of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT).

Cory Flencher will serve as a 2020-21 executive officer termed to guide the Leadership Division of the IBAT, which elected new board members during its quarterly board meeting last month. Founded in 1985, the IBAT Leadership Division dedicates itself to developing future leaders in community banking.
The board’s executive committee will be led by Chairman Peter Smith, Senior Vice President at Happy State Bank in Lubbock. Alongside Flencher, other executive officers named to guide the Leadership Division include Chairman-Elect Justin Steinbach, Senior Vice President at Frost Bank in Dallas, and Immediate Past Chair Marty Rivers, Denton Market President at American National Bank and Trust in Denton.
