BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER CHANGES TO SCHOOL CALENDAR TUESDAY

The Brenham School Board will hold a special emergency meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) to act on possible changes to the upcoming school year calendar.

The board will consider revisions amending the 2020-21 school calendar due to COVID-19.  KWHI has asked for elaboration on what potential revisions to the calendar are being considered, and at this time has only been told that Brenham ISD is prepared to release a statement following the meeting.

Also at Tuesday's meeting, the board will consider an interlocal agreement between the district and the Region IV Education Service Center for the purchase of hotspots.

The board will meet tomorrow at noon in the Brenham ISD Administration Office.  The public can listen to the meeting on YouTube.

Those looking to make public comments must submit them using the link here between 11 and 11:30 a.m. tomorrow morning to be included in the meeting.
