Xena is a Staffordshire Terrier Mix, about one to two years old. Brenham Animal Services staff say she is spayed and vaccinated, and is working on perfecting her leash walking skills and learning some basic commands. Staff say she would do best as an “only child”.
Each Saturday in August, the Brenham Pet Adoption Center will waive adoption fees as a part of the annual “Clear the Shelters” adoption event.
Adopters are encouraged to visit Brenham Animal Services’ online Pet Finder page to choose a pet they are interested in before coming to the shelter. They can also make an appointment by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page, or by calling 979-337-7351. Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Those looking to support the Brenham Pet Adoption Center can visit GreaterGood.org to donate to the Clear the Shelters Fund. Funds raised through Sunday, August 9th will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
