BLUEBONNET GARDEN CLUB NAMES AUGUST “YARD OF THE MONTH”
The Bluebonnet Garden Club awarded the Yard of the Month for August 2020 to Susan and Joel Schretenthaler, 2320 Gun and Rod Circle.
The circle drive is flanked by two large pink crepe myrtles and the retaining wall is bordered by pink drift roses and pink mucky grass. Beds of yellow Moss Rose Purslane, hot pink Vincas, and purple and white Angelonias line the steps into the home. Additional plantings include Mexican Sage, yellow Lantana, a large Buckeye tree and other perennial plants.
