BRYAN ISD EMPLOYEE OUT AFTER INFLAMMATORY FACEBOOK POST
A Bryan ISD employee, who posted remarks in Facebook considered racist, is no longer with the district.
Bryan ISD officials tell KBTX-TV in Bryan, that the employee was not a teacher—but an aide at Stephen F. Austin Middle School.
The comments appeared on Facebook over the weekend and have since been removed. They were in response to a news story about the NBA players boycotting games.
Officials with the Bryan ISD quickly condemned the remarks and said the matter would be investigated.
The district’s response came as screenshots of the remarks were widely shared by parents and concerned citizens on Facebook.
