TICKETS SOLD OUT FOR BURTON VFD BARBECUE FUNDRAISER SUNDAY; DONATIONS STILL BEING TAKEN
Tickets are all sold out for the Burton Volunteer Fire Department’s drive-thru barbecue fundraiser this weekend.
Burton Volunteer Fire Chief Ronnie Stanley said Wednesday the last of the advance tickets for Sunday’s fundraiser have been sold.
Stanley says he is very thankful for the response, but adds that local volunteer fire departments still need a great deal of help, whether that be through donations or more volunteers.
A list of all Washington County’s fire departments can be seen at www.wcffaonline.com, for anyone who is interested in volunteering or donating to the local departments.
