The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has three Pets of the Week this week.

“Alfred” is a California White Rabbit who Brenham Animal Services staff say has been neutered.  Alfred loves to be groomed, and will hold still for a bath and blow dry.  He can even go for a walk on a leash.

“Henry” appears to be a black cat, but staff say he has wispy, long smoke fur as well.  He is approximately three to four months old, and has been neutered and vaccinated.  Staff say he loves to play, but is also gentle and is used to being held.

“Portia” is a Portuguese Podengo, about a year and a half old.  Staff say she is a bit shy, but is also very loving and will settle in with a little time.  She has been spayed and vaccinated, but she also recently had her ears treated for infection, so she may need a follow-up vet visit if adopted.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but anyone looking to adopt or foster a pet can still see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com.  They can also set up an appointment to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351 or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
