2020 SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The winners of Main Street Brenham’s 17th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza have been announced.
This year’s Best Overall scarecrow, and the winner of the top prize of $300 from KTEX/KWHI, was “Douglas the Surveyor” by Hodde and Hodde Land Surveying.

The scarecrow with the most votes was “Dancing Through Fall” by Center Stage Dance and Fitness, the winner of $200 from Hermann Furniture.
Judge’s Choice was “The Great Pumpkin Patch” by Christy Schlottmann Agency, winning $200 from Must Be Heaven.
Best Fall Theme went to “Keeper of the Patch” by Grace Lutheran School, who wins $125 from Board and Brush.
Most Creative, and the winner of $125 from Scrubs N Stuff Boutique, was “Harry Potter…and the show you should come see!” by Brenham High School Theatre.
Most Educational went to “Citadel ‘Care’ Crow” by Citadel Christian School, the winner of $125 from The Book Nook.
“Quarantine with Carol Baskins” by Christina Wiesepape won the $125 prize from The Pomegranate as the silliest scarecrow.

“Friday Night Frights” by Brenham High School CTE-Child Development was named the cutest scarecrow, and won $125 from The Canyon Chick.
Two honorable mentions were given to “Brenham BOO-ster Club by Brenham Booster Club and “Rugrats Back in Class” by Kennedy and McKinley Jasinski. “Rugrats Back in Class” won $125 from Main Street Brenham, while “Brenham BOO-ster Club” won $125 from Branded Boutique.
