Hello there, Mr. ED Pothul @ KWHI!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reporting in the KWHI news, the events which took place on September 10, 2014, it has alowed for me a place to start, thanking all of those who so graciously lend-ed my family a helping hand that day. My name is Carrie Flores , I have resided in the Chappell Hill area for nearly five years now and unfortunately I do not know a whole lot of people who live in this area, because by having six children to raise, it does not allow my time for a social life of my own. I do always see the same happy looking people, help full and smiling faces of the people in and around this area, but unfortunately have never had the pleasure or the opportunity of learning their names on a person basics.
I am the 37 year old in your story who was the trapped woman as well as the vehicle’s driver in the photographs posted. I am so very grateful for all the men and woman whom responded of their own free will, when they saw a fellow motorist in trouble as well as to all those whom responded to my call for help following the accident.
The Brenham Firefighters at the scene were required to extricate me the driver from my wrecked vehicle, All responding Brenham Firefighters/ Personal worked so diligently as well as were extremely kind, genital, sensitive, and swift in their actions to extricate me from my vehicle, even when considering my statue in order, which is a bit larger than the average person, in-order to perceive my life, free me from my vehicle wreckage and thus allowing EMS paramedics/ personal to render medical treatment and life saving care to me, as well as to my two minor sons whom where also traveling in the vehicle with me at the time.
I am so very thankful to whom ever it was who took it upon themselves to contact BMS personal, and see to it that my other child whom was awaiting on my arrival to pick her up from BMS, was safely reunited with her older brother whom was at BHS football practice at the time of the accident.
There are so many among all the responders that I would like to personally thank for there kindness, efforts, and dedication to ensure my family’s safety through the demise we faced that day on September 10, 2014, on the roadway, but among so many responders there is one that I would like to personally thank, there was one particular man stood out above all the rest, and I don’t even know his name. This man, never left my side at the wreckage for even a single moment during the duration in which I was trapped in my vehicle, kept me awake and speaking hough-out the duration of my entrapment’s. If by any chance anyone who was at the scene of the accident that day is able to identify this man or knows of how I could contact him, I would greatly appreciate the information. As well as anyone with information as to the names of those who so diligently cared for me and my children both before or after I was saved from the wreckage. In the event that anyone does have any information my email address is floreseyes@yahoo.com.
I would also like to publicly express my sincerest gratitude and personally thank the mother and daughter team of Bevers Real Estate office located at the scene of the accident for looking after my two boys, who where able to escape the wreckage, directly following the accident, as well as though out the duration of the ordeal until, my boys were safely reunited with me in the ambulance being carried away to the hospital. Words alone could never express my gratefulness for the Lord placing such two gracious souls at the right place at the right time, and I will be forever in your debt.
Again, I would like to express the sincerest gratitude one human being can express to another and to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, for saving our lives.
Respectfully Yours,
Carrie Flores
