SOMERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES TOP GRADUATES

Somerville High School has named its valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2021.

The school’s top graduates are Jaret Pinkerton, who led the class with a grade point average of 3.98, and Alondra Zamora Ramirez, who had a GPA of 3.96.

Pinkerton, the son of Joshua and Trudy Pinkerton, will attend Texas A&M University and major in mechanical engineering.

Zamora Ramirez, the daughter of Otilio and Elvira Zamora, will attend Blinn College to earn her Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.  She will continue to attend school while using her certification to work in the medical field, before transferring to a university to major in radiology.

Somerville High School will hold its graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 29th at 10 a.m. at the school’s football stadium, “The Rock.”  The ceremony is open to the public.
