BRENHAM POLICE MAKE MAJOR METH ARREST
$1.4-million in drugs seized
Nearly one-and-a-half million dollars’ worth of methamphetamine has been seized following a traffic stop in Brenham.

Tuesday, just before 9:30 p.m., Brenham Police pulled over a vehicle in the 1800 block of U.S. Highway 290 West on a traffic stop.
During a probable cause search of the vehicle, authorities discovered 15 kilos of methamphetamines, with an estimated street value of over $1.4-million.

The occupants of the vehicle, 22-year-old Donovan Houston of Austin and 23-year-old Jade Middleton of Elgin, were each arrested and charged with: Manufacturer/Delivery of a Controlled Substance/More than 400 Grams; Possession of Marijuana; and, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
The two were taken to the Washington County Jail.
