BRAZOS COUNTY CONFIRMS FIRST HUMAN CASE OF WEST NILE

  

 

The first human case of the West Nile virus in Brazos County was confirmed Tuesday morning.

The Brazos County Health department has not release information about who the person infected, and want people to remember to practice the Four D’s in prevention of West Nile:

DRAIN standing water around the house, including tires, cans, flower pots, rain gutters, buckets, wading pools. Wear insect repellant containing DEET, stay in at DUSK, and DRESS in long sleeves and pants when outside.
