EIGHT SENTENCED IN LATEST DISTRICT COURT

A Brenham woman has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to her fifth Driving While Intoxicated offense in the latest session of 21st District Court in Brenham.

57-year-old Sara Elizabeth Kinney pleaded guilty to Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More Offense – enhanced to a Second Degree Felony.  She was sentenced to 15 years in prison and ordered to pay $100 to the EMS trauma fund.

Kinney latest arrest came in August of 2019.

55-year-old Lawrence Burton, Jr. of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to four years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.

31-year-old Kody Allen Fox of Brenham was sentenced to 10 months in prison for Failure to Register as a Offender – a State Jail Felony.

51-year-old Kenny Ray Brumley of Brenham was sentenced to 55 days in jail for Burglary of a Building – a State Jail Felony; and five days for Theft of Property/Less than $2500 with Two or More Previous Convictions –a Class A Misdemeanor

23-year-old Kondrea J’naye Graves of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Intoxication Assault with Vehicle Causes Serious Bodily Injury – a Third Degree Felony.  Graves must also perform 200 hours of community service, wear a SCRAM device and attend a DWI education class.

35-year-old Alyssa Castillo of Navasota received three years’ probation for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.  Castillo was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours community service restitution.

35-year-old Jose Graciano Camacho, Jr. of Brenham was sentenced to 180 days in the Washington County Jail for Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member – a Class A Misdemeanor.

And, 24-year-old Edward Benard Williams of Huntsville was placed on two years’ probation for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle – a Class A Misdemeanor.  Williams must also pay $4105 in restitution and perform 100 hours community service restitution.
