BURLESON CO. CROWNS FAIR QUEEN, LITTLE MISS

  

A new fair queen has been crowned in Burleson County.

Macy Narro was named Burleson County Fair Queen at Sunday night’s Fair Queen Contest.

First Runner-up in the contest was Grace Fritcher, who also sold the most fair season tickets at 1,563, breaking the individual record of 1,327 tickets sold in 2014.  Second Runner-up was Jalee Baumann and Third Runner-up was Morgan Becka.

Altogether, the four queen candidates sold 5,038 season tickets for $151,140, breaking the record of 2,700 tickets sold in 2017.

Meanwhile, the winner of the Little Miss Contest on Sunday was Harper Gaas.

First Runner-up was Heidi Hermann, Second Runner-up was Tatum Ray Groce and Third Runner-up was Kate Teague.

Livestock judging starts tomorrow (Tuesday) and continues through Friday, leading up to the Commercial Heifer Sale on Friday at 6 p.m. and the Youth Livestock Auction on Saturday at 5 p.m.

The fair will also feature Wagner’s Carnival, creative living exhibits, a pet show, a gospel concert on Thursday, the Crossroads Band on Friday, and the Texas Unlimited Band and Randy Rogers on Saturday.
