GROUNDBREAKING THURSDAY FOR SERVICE EXPANSION, ELECTRIC VEHICLES AT HYUNDAI OF BRENHAM

  

A Brenham auto dealership is celebrating an expansion.

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will hold a groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow (Thursday) at 2 p.m. for Hyundai of Brenham, at 1710 Highway 290 West.

Hyundai of Brenham co-owner Greg Appel said the Hyundai sales facility is adding its own service department.  Since the dealership opened in 2011, vehicle service has been performed at Appel Ford.

The ceremony will also mark the addition of Hyundai’s line of Ioniq electric vehicles to the Brenham dealership.

In addition, Appel said the facility will undergo a color change from blue to bronze.

Chamber ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies are held in person, but some are also streamed live on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
