The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking new leads in the investigation of a missing man, 20 years after his disappearance was first reported.
Jerome Robinson was last seen at the “Team Club” nightclub in Tunis on December 28, 2001. Robinson, who was 21 at the time and lived in Burleson County, was reported missing to the sheriff’s office by his grandmother and a friend on January 11, 2002.
Investigators gathered information leading them to believe Robinson was murdered while at the club, and over the years have continued to pursue various clues and tips. However, the case has gone cold.
The sheriff’s office believes there are people within or associated with Burleson County who have information that could lead to the location of Robinson and help hold any offenders accountable for his disappearance.
The sheriff’s office is assisted in the investigation by the Texas Rangers, the Burleson County District Attorney’s Office and the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley.
Anyone with information that could assist investigators in finding Robinson is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 979-567-4343.
HIS MOM, Hopefully my son is somewhere bettering himself and getting the help he needs, because he made several attempts to get help by going to the E. R. there only for them to put him back on the street after several MHMR evaluations. I guarantee that justice will be served on all levels, with the hospital and mhmr being the first . because have they done their job correctly I wouldn’t be going through this right now.
This sad an his killers are probably in the area to this day and know what went on that night I wish justice will be served
