RODEO GIDDINGS SET FOR SECOND WEEKEND OF APRIL

  

One of the biggest rodeos in Central Texas makes its return in early April to the Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena.

Rodeo Giddings, set for April 8th and 9th, will feature rodeo events such as bareback, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc and breakaway.  There will also be mutton bustin’ and a calf scramble for the kids.

The rodeo will cap off with a dance with Broken Alibi on the 9th at 10 p.m.

In addition, a team roping shootout with the Fayette and Lee County Sheriff’s Posses will be held on April 2nd at 6 p.m.

Admission at the gate is $20, but children 7-14 get in for $5 and kids 6 and under enter for free.  Entry for mutton bustin’ is $20.
