WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR RED & GREEN CHILI COOK-OFF

The Burleson County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Red & Green Chili Cookoff this past Saturday, March 26, at the City Park in Snook.

There were ten different categories that were divided up between three winning teams.

The Beefcat Cookers won for :

  • It's Five O'Clock Somewhere Margaritas
  • Green Chili
  • Exotic Chili
  • Beans

The Log Cabin Cookers won for:

  • Red Chili
  • Dip Your Chip
  • Bloody Mary

Warning the Girls Are Drinking Again won for:

  • Hot Chocolate
  • Breakfast Taco
  • Showmanship

Chamber Director Susan Mott said that with five cooking competitors, over twenty vendors, and a large crowd of shoppers and tasters that the event was a success.
