BRENHAM ISD SUPT. DISCUSSES BOND PROPOSAL ON ROUNDTABLE PROGRAM

  
Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Tylor Chaplin speaks during the Brenham School Board's meeting on March 7th. Dr. Chaplin talked about Brenham ISD's upcoming bond election during this week's edition of the Brenham ISD Roundtable on KWHI.

Brenham ISD’s bond proposal was the subject of this week’s Brenham ISD Roundtable program on KWHI.

Superintendent Dr. Tylor Chaplin was the featured guest for the program, discussing what is included in the $153.9 million bond measure, why certain projects were chosen, and how the bond will impact voters if it is passed.

During the program, Dr. Chaplin stressed that all projects that are part of the bond are listed on the ballot being presented to voters starting next week.

The public has two more opportunities next week to visit Brenham ISD facilities and learn more about the bond.  A public meeting and facility open tour will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Brenham High School cafeteria, with another open tour on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Brenham Junior High School.

Early voting will last for seven days, beginning on Monday and ending on Tuesday, May 3rd.  Election Day is Saturday, May 7th.

  1. My Property appraisal has gone up 26k, 28k, 32k for the past 3 years. Everyones property appraisal has been increaseing every year. Please VOTE NO on this bond. The property taxes we pay will only go up every year because the property appraisels are going up. Vote NO or you will be paying more and more each year as appraisals go up.
