RONSTADT REVUE COMING TO THE BARNHILL CENTER

The renowned tribute band, Ronstadt Revue, is coming to Brenham and bringing a special guest with them.

The show is being held on Saturday, May 21st the Barnhill Center at the Historic Simon Theatre.

The show features vocalist Gesenia Gerena and her world-class six-piece band who faithfully recreate selections from all phases of Linda Rostadt’s career from Country and Rock, through Mexican/Mariachi, and songs from her three Great American Songbook albums with Nelson Riddle.

Gerena is a self-taught singer/songwriter who learned from artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and of course, Linda Ronstadt. Each member of Ronstadt Revue is a seasoned, talented musician that has fully dedicated themselves to recreating the sounds and vibe of a Ronstadt live performance.

Joining them for their show in Brenham will be former Linda Ronstadt band member John Beland, who was there for the height of the singer’s career.

It is the first time that Beland is performing with Ronstadt Revue. He is a songwriter, session guitarist, recording artist, producer, and author.

Beland’s first big break came in 1970 when he played lead guitar for a young Ronstadt. He also helped her form her first serious band, “Swamp Water,” and toured the country with her.
