EARLY VOTING HITS 1,000 THROUGH THREE DAYS
The number of early votes cast through Wednesday in the constitutional amendment election has surpassed 1,000, and is just shy of that total for the Brenham ISD bond election.
According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 400 people cast ballots in the constitutional amendment election on Wednesday, while 383 voters participated in the school bond election.
Those numbers are down slightly from Tuesday when 409 voters came out, including 390 for the bond election.
So far, there have been 1,044 voters in the constitutional amendment election and 998 in the bond election.
Early voting continues at the Washington County Courthouse Annex today (Thursday), tomorrow (Friday), Monday and Tuesday. Voting hours each day are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day is May 7th.
