LOCAL CONTRACTOR, COMMUNITY SUPPORTER BOB GRABARSHICK DIES

A career contractor and community activist in Brenham has died.
Bob Grabarshick died Tuesday at the age of 71, following a heart attack.
Grabarshick had a successful career in general contracting, construction management and hospitality renovation as the owner and operator of RWG Construction Management.
Grabarshick was active in local and state communities as a provider to several charities, and held membership in four local Chambers of Commerce. He served as vice president of the Christ Lutheran Day School Board and on the City of Brenham Historic Preservation Board. He also remained a member of several Texas A&M University organizations after graduating in 1973.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 18th at The Barnhill Center.
Bob Was my Neighbor, He always had a smile on his face and always had time to talk when we saw each other out in our yards. I will mis our talks about Politics, current events and Baseball.
