‘MEET THE CUBS’ WEDNESDAY AT CUB STADIUM
Tonight (Wednesday) marks the kickoff to the Brenham Cub and Cubette fall sports season.
The “Meet the Cubs” rally, set for 7 p.m. at Cub Stadium, will introduce Brenham’s fall sports teams and athletes, the Brenham Cub Band, the Brenham Belles Dance Team, and the junior high and high school cheerleaders.
KWHI’s Doug Brown and KTEX-106’s Courtney Cartwright will be at Cub Stadium for “Meet the Cubs.” Coverage is sponsored by Mr. Gatti’s Pizza.
Brenham Cub football begins on Friday with an away game against Oak Ridge. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., with 6:30 p.m. pregame on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
