BURLESON CO. FAIR OPENS SATURDAY WITH PARADE
Burleson County kicks off its fair season tomorrow (Saturday).
Festivities for the fair, themed “Back in the Saddle”, begin with the parade through downtown Caldwell starting at 10 a.m. They continue with the crowning of the Little Miss and Fair Queen on Sunday at 6 p.m.
The fair queen candidates are Kylan Canon, Alexis Macik, Hope Savage and Jalynn Urbanosky.
Livestock check-ins and weigh-ins begin on Tuesday, with judging opening on Wednesday and continuing through Friday, September 23rd. The commercial heifer sale will take place that Friday at 6 p.m., while the youth livestock auction is set for Saturday, September 24th beginning at 5 p.m.
Sam’s Amusements & Carnivals will have rides and games to enjoy from Wednesday to Saturday. There will also be musical entertainment by the Wyatt Ellis Band on Thursday, Texas Unlimited Band and Wade Bowen on Friday, and the Crossroads Band, Rick Trevino and Mark Wills on Saturday.
